back in the saddle again

So I rode today for the first time in several months. Only rode 22 miles. Guess ya gotta start somewhere. Gonna run long tomorrow in a local sate park for as long as I can.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The Day After

I still need to workout today. I'm being a little lazy as it is a balmy 80 degrees and I just got back from Boulder,CO. The temp adjustment from 11 to 80 humid degrees is always hard for me. I prefer dry cold air for running etc.
Managed to XC ski for a weekend in Winter Park area. It was difficult (talk about a workout) but FUN! So what if it's 11 degrees , a white out ,windy ,hands freezing off , face windburned and I'm blowing a lung or 2!! I loved it. What a challenge for a flatlander that knows diddly/squat about xc skiing.
In other news, Sean is taking me shopping for my birthday (12/31) today. I'm gonna look at some digital cameras. Yeah! Glad we're not in Long Island , I might have to take a few shoppers out...
